Wipro to be official launch partner for Amazon Security Lake
Wipro said that it has been selected as the official launch partner for Amazon Security Lake from Amazon Web Service (AWS), which offers intelligent security data to modern enterprises for solving more security use cases, enhancing security visibility, and bringing down threats.
Launched at AWS re:Invent 2022, Amazon Security Lake enables customers to develop a security data lake by using integrated cloud and on-premises data sources alongside their private applications.
Supported by the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) standard, Amazon Security Lake is said to lessen the costs and complexity for customers for making their security solutions data accessible to address the detection of threats, investigation, incident response, and other security use cases.
Wipro said that it is working with AWS to collect data from multiple security sources including Wipro Cloud Application Risk Governance (CARG) and create security use cases for Amazon Security Lake. This will help enterprises organize, manage, and extract intelligence and value from event and log data in the cloud as well as on-premises to give increased visibility to security teams across their organizations.
Customers by using Amazon Security Lake can utilize the desired security and analytics solutions to query that data in place or input the OCSF-compliant data to address additional use cases, said Wipro.
Tony Buffomante — Wipro Senior Vice President and Global Head of Cybersecurity and Risk Services said: “Amazon Security Lake helps customers optimize security log data retention by optimizing the partitioning of data to improve performance and reduce costs. Now, cloud security analysts and engineers can easily build and use a centralized security data lake to improve the protection of workloads, applications, and data.
“Wipro works with AWS to transform the modern enterprises by providing outcome-based cloud security solutions, delivery excellence and continuous innovations using various AWS native security capabilities.”
