Wipro subsidiary Topcoder appoints Doug Hanson as CEO

Wipro said that its subsidiary Topcoder, a talent network and crowdsourcing platform, has appointed Oregon-based Doug Hanson as its CEO.

Topcoder is an open talent platform for developers, data scientists, designers, and QA enthusiasts. It was acquired by Wipro in 2016.

According to Wipro, Doug Hanson will be responsible for the success of Topcoder and its partners and customers.

Doug Hanson is said to offer 25 years of leadership in quickly scaling marketplace businesses and his experience in sales, product, marketing, and operations will be highly important to the next phase of Topcoder’s growth, said Wipro.

Before joining Topcoder, Doug Hanson was the chief operating officer for 6 Degrees Health. He had also held leadership roles in the past at GrubHub, Amazon, Vivid Seats, and Microsoft as well.
