Wipro ropes in Simmi Dhamija as APMEA chief operating officer

Wipro has appointed Simmi Dhamija as the company’s chief operating officer of the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) unit.

According to the Indian IT services provider, Simmi Dhamija will oversee the delivery and operations of the market unit across its various regions and effectively support its ambitions of profitable growth.

Simmi Dhamija, who has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, was at Tech Mahindra before this new stint. She was serving as the chief transformation officer at Tech Mahindra and prior to this is said to have been in various global leadership posts in strategy, operations, delivery, and development of talent.

The new Wipro APMEA chief operating officer has a management degree from IMT Ghaziabad.
