Wipro brings in Frederic Abecassis as new Southeast Asia BFSI head
Wipro Limited said that it has appointed Frederic Abecassis as the company’s Southeast Asia’s new head of banking, financial services & insurance (BFSI) industry sector.
According to the Indian IT services provider, Frederic Abecassis will lead the business growth of the company in the BFSI sector across Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong.
The new Wipro Southeast Asia BFSI head will collaborate with and help clients meet their key business and digital transformation objectives, while achieving their topline, bottomline and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
Besides, Frederic Abecassis, who is based in Hong Kong, will help bolster the ecosystem of technology partners of Wipro in Southeast Asia.

Before joining Wipro, Frederic Abecassis was working at Capgemini Invent, where he was in multiple leadership roles. These include FS Strategic Deals Lead in France, FS head in the Middle East, and Hong Kong and Southeast Asia Managing Director. He has a Masters in Management & Finance from EDHEC Business School in France.
