Vedavaag Systems launches cloud-based Driver Alert Management System

Vedavaag Systems Limited has announced its foray into new age technologies in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) segment with the launch of Driver Alert Management System (V‐DAMS), a cloud‐based product.

The Hyderabad-based IT services company said that it is keen to provide the product and services that can improve safety and security of people and fleet in the transport industry.

Vedavaag Systems is said to be already working as a supply and installation partner for the installation of cloud enabled IoT based devices in Andhra Pradesh for public transport vehicles.

According to the company, the Driver Alert Management System has broad usage in buses, goods carriers, autos, tempos, lorries, and self-driven passenger cars.

The device has been designed to provide instant alerts for drivers. It can also be enabled over the cloud to carry out fleet management from the central command control system for accident prevention.

The Driver Alert Management System will capture and analyze first order biometrics of the driver, which include gaze, pupil diameter, head position, and other parameters.

Vedavaag Systems said that it is also engaged in developing artificial intelligence and cloud-based IoT products for other industries.
