The organizing committee of France 2023 announced that French energy company TotalEnergies (formerly Total) has become an official sponsor of Rugby World Cup France 2023.

TotalEnergies said that by partnering with France 2023, it will support the mission of the tournament by making the 2023 edition of the Rugby world cup a moment of sharing and celebration in all regions in France. Rugby World Cup 2023 will be played from 8 September – 28 October with matches played at nine venues in 10 French cities.

The oil and gas giant said that Rugby World Cup France 2023 will give it the scope to present its broad energy profile to a larger audience and, through this ambition, consolidate ties with its stakeholders.

TotalEnergies said that alongside Rugby World Cup France 2023, the company is committed to sustainability as an integral part of their strategy, operations, and projects.
