Torrent Pharmaceuticals wraps up Rs 20bn acquisition of Curatio Healthcare

Torrent Pharmaceuticals said that it has wrapped up the previously announced INR 2,000 crores acquisition of Curatio Healthcare (I) Private Limited, a cosmetic dermatology company.

Announced in late September 2022, the deal is expected to help the Indian pharmaceutical firm bolster its presence in the dermatology segment.

Curatio Healthcare gives 600 medical representatives (MRs) and around 900 stockists to Torrent Pharmaceuticals. The cosmetic dermatology company is said to have over 50 brands that include Atogla, B4 Nappi, Tedibar, Permite, and Spoo.
