TenneT has roped in Emerson, a US-based industrial technology company, for delivering software and services to modernize its power transmission network.

Emerson will help the Dutch electricity transmission system operator (TSO) to streamline and secure the high-voltage transmission network that supplies power to approximately 42 million people in the Netherlands and Germany.

The OSI digital grid solutions of Emerson are said to provide an efficient and flexible platform called Monarch. This platform will assist TenneT’s transition to a more dynamic, complex and interconnected power market, that is presently witnessing significant growth in renewable energy, said the Missouri-based industrial technology company.
