Tech Mahindra becomes Azure Operator Nexus Ready Systems Integrator

Indian IT company Tech Mahindra said that it has expanded its partnership with Microsoft as an Azure Operator Nexus Ready Systems Integrator.

The expanded partnership is aimed at empowering telecom operators and enterprises to build, host, and manage Long-term Evolution (LTE)s and 5G networks by using virtualized/containerized network functions with the help of Azure Operator Nexus.

“Through our expanded partnership, Tech Mahindra will deliver innovative Azure Operator Nexus solutions and services, that will help customers drive business transformation and realize new growth.”

Tech Mahindra as an Azure Operator Nexus Ready Systems Integrator will contribute its expertise, talent, a range of solutions, and professional managed services.

The partnership will use a fully cloud-native, blueprinted 5G core operating on Azure Operator Nexus that will allow telecom providers to offer personalized and enhanced user experiences.

It will also provide operators with simplified business operations by using streamlined management, automation, and policies provided by the cloud’s unified management.

By utilizing Azure Operator Nexus, Tech Mahindra will allow operators to run all of their workloads, including RAN mobile, voice core, and operating support system as well as business support system, all on one hybrid cloud platform that is designed for carriers. This will allow operators to provide the security, resilience, and observability, as well as the manageability and performance requirements required to realize the benefits of digital transformation.
