Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been chosen by Telefonica Germany to help the German telecoms company transform its end-to-final service assurance applications along with processes inside its operations support systems (OSS) stack to improve the customer experience.

According to the Indian IT company, Telefonica Germany aims to drive innovation through continuous digital transformation in order to improve the quality of life for people and offer connectivity to both individuals and companies. In order to realize this dream, Telefonica Germany is said to have engaged Tata Consultancy Services as its transformation partner to develop an OSS that is future-proof.

The OSS will be designed to provide its customers with a safe as well as secure networking experience.

Tata Consultancy Services will utilize best-in-class processes such as Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, as well as Continuous Testing (CI/CD/CT) framework as well as its extensive cloud experience for modernizing the OSS service assurance estate, using cloud-native technologies and artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) to anticipate and prevent network failures.

This will allow Telefonica Germany in the implementation of zero-touch cloud-based operations and provide better network services to customers. The overhauled processes of service assurance will result in quicker turnaround times as well as a better customer experience.

In addition, the new modern, future-proofed, and simplified service assurance systems in the OSS landscape of Telefonica Germany will allow for the introduction of newer products that include new 5G-based growth regions, which will have almost zero downtime.
