Tantia Constructions to win Rs 42cr bridge construction contract
Tantia Constructions Limited is set to win a contract for the construction of bridges between Basta and Rupsa in Odisha from the South Eastern Railways after prevailing with a bid of INR 42.2 crores.
The Kolkata-based construction engineering company said that it has received a letter of acceptance in this connection.
The contract work is for the construction of major bridge Nos. 234 (5×12.20m Composite Girder) at Km: 205.398, 235 (9×18.30m Composite Girder) at Km: 206.45, 238 (3×12.20m Composite Girder) at Km: 208.754 and 239 (2×12.2m+2×18.30m Composite Girder) at Km: 209.367 between Basta and Rupsa.

According to Tantia Constructions, the scope of the bridge construction contract includes foundation, substructure, superstructure, and other miscellaneous works pertaining to the proposed third line between Narayangarh-Bhadrak section of the South Eastern Railways.
