Subex Limited, a provider of digital trust, internet of things (IoT) and operational technology (OT) cybersecurity solutions, has joined forces with Spire Solutions, to address the steep increase in cyberattacks and associated cyber risks in the Middle East.

As per Subex’s latest threat landscape report, industries like oil and gas, healthcare, and manufacturing have been at the receiving end of persistent and complex cyberattacks in the Middle East.

The Indian enterprise software company said that the volume of inbound cyberattacks increased by 67% in the first four months of this year, and continues to move up with each passing month.

According to Subex, a major area of worry in the region is that some of the cyberattacks are targeted at the health and safety mechanisms in industrial facilities, resulting in occupational safety risks to employees.
