StrikeForce launches Secure eTravelers cyber solution for hotels

US cybersecurity company StrikeForce Technologies has launched a new cyber solution called Secure eTravelers to protect the personal devices like computers and cell phones of hotel guests from hackers while traveling and using Wi-Fi.

The Secure eTravelers cyber solution has been developed to address the increased hacking incidences targeted at recreational and business travelers, with millions of hotel guests vulnerable to having their personal or corporate data compromised.

Commenting on the launch of the Secure eTravelers cyber solution, Mark L Kay – CEO of StrikeForce said: “Hackers are seizing every opportunity to trick travelers by installing keylogging spyware on devices when travelers go to use new or unfamiliar Wi-Fi services.

Cino, which is one of StrikeForce’s distributors, is the channel partner that is introducing the Secure eTravelers Program with a New York City hotel.

StrikeForce is also planning to launch the Secure eTravelers cyber solution for other industries like tour businesses, event/meeting planners, airlines, cruise ships and trains, which serve travelers.

The US saw 1.32 billion global tourist arrivals in 2018, which is 84 million more travelers than the preceding year, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization 2018 Tourism Highlights Report.

As per the U.S. Travel Association, business, leisure and general travelers spent an estimated $1.1 trillion in 2018.
