Solstad Offshore wins contract for Normand Baltic and Normand Navigator

Solstad Offshore said that its Normand Baltic subsea construction vessel has won a contract, while its Normand Navigator construction support vessel secured a contract extension.

According to the Norwegian offshore service and supply ship shipping company, the contracts are for executing renewable energy projects in North Europe and Asia. The two vessels have a combined firm utilization of 310 days, followed by additional options.

Put together, the two contracts are worth around NOK 320 million ($30.1 million), which include additional services like Walk to Work-system, ROV’s and other project support, said Solstad Offshore.

The contract for Normand Baltic subsea construction vessel will cover the majority of the fourth quarter and the first quarter of 2023, while the Normand Navigator construction support vessel has a firm contract up to the fourth quarter of 2023.

Solstad Offshore did not disclose who awarded the contracts but said that they are established operators in the renewable energy segment.
