Shenandoah oil and gas project : Koil Energy Solutions to deliver critical subsea equipment

Koil Energy Solutions (formerly known as Deep Down), a provider of subsea energy equipment and services, has bagged a contract related to the Shenandoah oil and gas project in the US Gulf of Mexico.

As per the contract, Koil Energy Solutions will be responsible for delivering subsea distribution equipment for the 17,500 psi development. The project is likely to be substantially complete by the end of this year.

According to Koil Energy Solutions, the multi-million-dollar Shenandoah oil and gas project calls for the delivery of over 70 multi quick connect (MQC) plates, which are highly important pieces of subsea infrastructure used for facilitating the transfer of various fluids between subsea systems.

The equipment will be eligible for 20,000 psi applications, said Koil Energy Solutions.

Charles Njuguna — Koil Energy Solutions President and CEO said: “This award is further validation of our strategy to rebrand and reposition the company from a provider of components to a full systems provider.”
