RITES Ltd, CRIS to jointly explore rail tech opportunities

RITES Ltd, an Indian transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering company,  and Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for exploring information technology-based opportunities in the railway sector and new-age areas.

According to RITES Ltd, the MoU will enable the parties in utilizing each other’s expertise and in working together to bring digitalization to railway technologies.

CRIS and RITES Ltd will work together on domestic and international projects. With the collaboration, the parties aim to build smart, intelligent IT solutions for railway operations in addition to modernizing existing technology and telecommunication in the sector.
