Reliance Jio Infocomm introduces JioTrue5G-powered Wi-Fi services
Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio) has introduced JioTrue5G-powered Wi-Fi services in religious places, educational institutes, bus stands, commercial hubs, railway stations, and other high footfall areas.
The launch of JioTrue5G-powered Wi-Fi services adds to the JioTrue5G service and the recently rolled out Jio Welcome Offer in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Varanasi.
Reliance Jio Infocomm claimed that its teams are working continuously to make additional cities go live and ramp up the availability of True5G-ready handsets.
The company said that it has commenced JioTrue5Gpowered Wi-Fi services in the Nathdwara temple town in Rajasthan.

Users of the Jio network will get the new service free of costs during the Jio Welcome Offer period, while non-Jio customers will be able to try the service as well before they move to Jio to obtain the full and unlimited service experience.

“As stated earlier, 5G cannot remain an exclusive service to the privileged few or those in our largest cities. It must be available to every citizen, every home, and every business across India. This is a step in that direction to enable every Indian with JioTrue5G.”
It can be noted that Reliance Jio Infocomm acquired spectrum in the 700MHz, 800MHz, 1800MHz, 3300MHz, and 26GHz bands for INR 88,078 crores in the recently held auctions of the Indian government’s Department of Telecommunications.
