Radiation Safety & Control Services acquired by Allied Power Holdings

Allied Power Holdings, a US-based provider of power plant services, has acquired Radiation Safety & Control Services (RSCS), which caters to the nuclear power industry with project management, technical and laboratory services.

The financial terms of the deal were not revealed.

Allied Power Holdings offers routine maintenance, capital construction and specialized support, and outage services and management for power plants across the asset life cycle across the US.

The company was acquired by Bernhard Capital Partners in late 2020.

Radiation Safety & Control Services has been providing radiological and environmental services and nuclear site staffing services for over 30 years to industries and government agencies in the US.

The company with its proprietary laboratory services and radiation monitoring products is expected to help Allied Power Holdings to grow its relationships with customers, while allowing it to simultaneously tap into the growing market for decommissioning of nuclear plants and radiation monitoring services.
