Publicis Groupe expands digital capabilities with acquisition of Corra

Publicis Groupe, a French advertising and communications company, has acquired Corra, a US-based digital agency specializing in e-commerce solutions, for an undisclosed price.

With this acquisition, Corra will become a part of Publicis Sapient, the digital business transformation arm of Publicis Groupe. The addition of Corra will bolster Publicis Sapient’s existing expertise in commerce solutions, including Adobe Commerce and MACH Alliance composable commerce solutions, while expanding its offerings in digital and omnichannel commerce.

Moreover, Corra’s dedicated resources will enhance several of Publicis Sapient’s SPEED (Strategy, Product, Experience, Engineering, and Data & AI) capabilities.

Established in 2002 and headquartered in New York, Corra has additional hubs in the United States, the UK, and India. The company has earned a reputation for building some of the world’s fastest and most flexible digital storefronts for growing brands across various industries, including retail, food and beverage, technology and electronics, health and wellness, and B2B sectors.

On the other hand, Corra holds the distinction of being a Gold Adobe partner and has repeatedly won the North American partner of the year awards for Adobe Commerce in recent years.

As part of the acquisition, the Corra team, including CEO Ron Bongo and co-owners CTO Michael Harvey and President Rachel Weir, will join Publicis Sapient. They will report to the company’s Commerce practice leadership, contributing their expertise and experience in driving innovative digital commerce solutions.
