Prataap Snacks begins production at Howrah food processing plant

Indore-based Prataap Snacks Limited, which owns the Yellow Diamond brand, has started commercial production at its newly established food processing plant in Dornjur, Howrah district in West Bengal.

The Indian snack foods company said that the new food processing plant will produce extruded snacks, pellets, and other snacks. The Prataap Snacks factory has a capacity of nearly 6,000 MT per annum.

Prataap Snacks, which is a part of the BCM Group, manufactures products such as Foochka Gol Gappa, Stix Corn and Potato Sticks, Masala Pipe, Katori, potato chips, popcorn, Wheels, Scoops, and others under the Yellow Diamond brand.

With the Howrah plant, Prataap Snacks has a total of 15 snack manufacturing plants in India for producing potato chips, extruded snacks,  and namkeen products.
