PLP acquires plastic products and wiring material provider HOLPLAST

Preformed Line Products Company (PLP), a US-based precision-engineered solutions provider, has acquired HOLPLAST, based in Czech Republic, for an undisclosed price.

Headquartered in Prostějo, HOLPLAST supplies plastic products and wiring material to the Czech and European markets for more than two decades.

HOLPLAST is engaged in manufacturing components such as small plastic products, accumulator battery plugs, instrument terminal boards, and manual assemblies for the automotive industry.

“Their talented team of employees has a long history of producing high-quality molded components for a demanding customer base and will enhance PLP’s existing EMEA operations.”

In January 2021, Preformed Line Products Company acquired Maxxweld Conectores Elétricos, a Brazilian firm engaged in designing and manufacturing substation connector systems and accessory hardware for high voltage AC systems.
