NLC India, GRIDCO to develop renewable energy projects in Odisha

NLC India Limited, a government of India enterprise, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Grid Corporation of Odisha (GRIDCO) for setting up renewable energy projects in Odisha.

The projects planned by the parties include ground mounted/floating solar power projects, green hydrogen projects, pumped hydro storage projects, and others.

NLC India and GRIDCO signed the MoU at the ‘Make in Odisha Conclave,’ at Bhubaneswar on 1 December 2022 in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

NLC India stated: “This MoU shall enable both the parties towards the National targets for Renewable Energy capacity and Energy Transition goal.”
