MSI Express acquires certain assets of PacMoore Products in Indiana

MSI Express, an Indiana-based contract packaging and contract manufacturing firm, has acquired certain operating assets from PacMoore Products for an undisclosed price.

PacMoore Products offers co-manufacturing and co-packaging services apart from food processing.

The deal involves all of the contract manufacturing operations of PacMoore Products located in Hammond, Indiana.

MSI Express, which is backed by HCI Equity Partners, said that the acquisition enables it to add capacity and operating capabilities for its quickly rising customer needs. PacMoore Products is the third add-on acquisition for MSI Express after HCI Equity Partners’ initial investment in 2018.

Doug McCormick — HCI Equity Partners Managing Partner said: “PacMoore provides access to new customers and channels and is consistent with our consolidation strategy of adding capacity and complementary capabilities to better serve our growing roster of blue-chip CPG customers.”

The broader PacMoore Products, which include PacMoore Process Technologies and the PacMoore Innovation Lab is being divested to Glanbia Nutritionals who sees the contract manufacturing business as non-core to the rest of its ingredients business.
