MDI NetworX acquires PPO alliance American Healthcare Alliance

MDI NetworX, a Baltimore-based provider of business management services for healthcare payers, has acquired American Healthcare Alliance (AHA) for an undisclosed price.

Based in Overland Park, Kansas, American Healthcare Alliance is an alliance of preferred provider organizations (PPOs). The alliance, through its PPO networks, caters to payers, employers, brokers, and networks across the US.

MDI NetworX said that the acquisition outlines the commitment of the two firms to provide the right solutions to their clients on the basis of services and product offerings, expanded capabilities, and geographical presence.

The acquisition is said to enable MDI NetworX to consolidate its footprint as a major provider of end-to-end healthcare claims administration services.
