Majors Management, Alimentation Couche-Tard to buy MAPCO Express assets in separate deals
Majors Management, an American convenience stores chain, has agreed to acquire MAPCO Express, an operator of gas stations and retail convenience stores, for an undisclosed price.
The transaction is contingent on a separate deal under which 112 MAPCO fuel and convenience retail sites are being sold to Alimentation Couche-Tard.
According to Majors Management, its deal involves the MAPCO brand, MAPCO My Reward$ loyalty program, and a retail fuel and convenience store chain in the Southeastern US with sites mainly in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

The deal, which is subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions, is likely to close in the latter half of this year.
Alimentation Couche-Tard said that its deal includes a network of sites located mainly in Alabama and Tennessee, as well as in Georgia and Kentucky. The financial terms of this deal were also disclosed and it is expected to close in H2 2023.
