Larsen & Toubro reveals two contract wins for buildings and factories unit

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) said that the buildings and factories division of L&T Construction has won a contract from an undisclosed automobile company to build a manufacturing facility in Haryana.

The scope of the order involves design and execution of civil, architectural, and structural works, including works pertaining to external development.

Larsen & Toubro stated: “This win is on the back of a prestigious order from Reliance Life Sciences, a leading bio-tech major to construct their state-of-the-art life sciences products manufacturing facility in Maharashtra, India.”

The L&T Construction buildings and factories business also secured an order from the Assam government’s Public Works Department to build a police reserve campus in Guwahati.

The scope of the contract includes design and construction of accommodation facilities for police, multi-level car parking, office space, and associated buildings in all aspects including structure, MEP, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing and associated external development works.

The project is to be carried out in 36 months.
