KPIT Technologies, a software integration partner for the automotive and mobility industry, has been chosen by Renault Group as a strategic software scaling partner for next-generation software-defined vehicle (SDV) programs.

Renault Group is said to be making substantial investments and forging strategic partnerships to build an SDV platform, which is expected to fuel its global growth over the coming decades by providing unrivaled experience to end consumers and unlocking monetization over the tenure of vehicle ownership.

KPIT Technologies claimed that its experience of 20 years in automotive and mobility software, global scale, cross-domain competencies, and ecosystem of alliance partners apart from know-how in developing SDV roadmaps for various industry majors, makes it well positioned to contribute to the vision of Renault Group.

The Indian company said that its global presence clubbed with access to a talent pool and training programs, will develop the desired scale demanded by the SDV platform.

Renault Group anticipates the SDV technology programs to bring value to its roadmap of vehicle production programs that will begin from 2026, said KPIT Technologies.
