Kitwave acquires West Country foodservice supplier M.J. Baker Foodservice

Kitwave Group plc, a UK-based delivered wholesale business, has acquired M.J. Baker Foodservice for an undisclosed price.

Headquartered in Newton Abbott, Devon, M.J. Baker Foodservice is a foodservice supplier in West Country.

Established in 1999, M.J. Baker Foodservice is said to offer more than 3,500 products in ambient, chilled, and frozen foods, along with confectionery, alcohol, and non-food items. The company’s brands are complemented by a variety of products under the Bakers Best Buy lines.

M.J. Baker Foodservice will be incorporated into the existing foodservice unit of Kitwave Group, which presently has the existing trading operations of H.B. Clark & Co. (Successors) and David Miller Frozen Foods.
