KEC International bags Rs 2,042cr contracts across various segments

KEC International, an India-based infrastructure EPC contractor, said that it has bagged new orders worth INR 2,042 crores across multiple businesses.

The RPG Group subsidiary secured contracts for electricity transmission and distribution (T&D) projects in the Middle East and the Americas.

KEC International said that the T&D contracts include 380 kV transmission lines in Saudi Arabia, the supply of towers in the Middle East by its subsidiary in the UAE, and the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas to be executed by another subsidiary, SAE Towers.

The EPC contractor’s civil business won orders for carrying out infrastructure works in India in the water pipeline and data centre segments.

Its cables business bagged orders for different types of cables in India and abroad.

KEC International won multiple contracts for its railways business. These include ballastless track works (BLT) for metro rail, overhead electrification (OHE), and orders for carrying out composite projects such as laying of tracks, electrical, signalling and telecommunication and related works.

Vimal Kejriwal — KEC International MD and CEO said: “We are delighted with the continuous order inflows across businesses. With the above orders, our order inflows for the current year stand at ~Rs. 10,500 crores, a robust growth of ~40% vis-à-vis last year. Our International T&D order book has enhanced substantially in the last few months, especially in the Middle East region.

“The prestigious orders in the Water Pipeline and Data Centre segments have expanded our presence in these growing sectors. Our Railway business has further consolidated its order book with orders in both conventional and emerging/ new areas.
