John C. Breckenridge Insurance acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

Global insurance brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (Gallagher) has acquired John C. Breckenridge Insurance Solutions (JCB) based in Sacramento, California for an undisclosed price.

Established in 2016, John C. Breckenridge Insurance Solutions is a brokerage and plan management company. It is engaged in catering to higher education institutions with student health and intercollegiate athletics insurance solutions.

According to Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., John Breckenridge along with Lisa Breckenridge and their team will continue to operate in their existing location under the leadership of Kevin Garvin, who heads Affinity North America for the former’s retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
