Iris Clothings to use Disney and Marvel characters in kids apparel

Iris Clothings Limited, an Indian readymade garment company, has signed a couple of licensing agreements with UTV Software Communications Pvt. Ltd. (Disney) for using Disney and Marvel characters.

The Howrah-based company is mainly involved in designing, manufacturing, branding, and selling garments for kids wear under the DOREME brand name in India.

Following the licensing agreements, Iris Clothings can design kids apparels around intellectual properties from Disney movies such as Mickey Mouse, Lion King, Aladdin, Frozen, and others, and from Marvel movies such as Doctor Strange, Spiderman, and Thor among others.

Iris Clothings intends to bring the apparels with the new designs in the market for all kids’ age groups, from 0 to 16 years, by the end of financial year 2023.

The kids apparels will be sold offline via the distributor network of Iris Clothings in Tier II and III cities as well as online through its D2C website.
