Infosys to transform digital application landscape of BP

Infosys and oil and gas giant BP signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the Indian IT firm will help the latter transform its digital application landscape.

In accordance with the MoU, Infosys will be BP’s main partner for the entire range of applications, which includes modernization, development, management, and maintenance.

This strategic alliance further enhances the relationship that has lasted more than two decades between the two companies.

As BP shifts to becoming an integrated energy business with the aim of becoming net zero by 2050 or later and assisting the world achieve net zero, the two companies will focus together on modernizing the application landscape of the former to increase the resilience of its business, generate the value of operational efficiency and develop more adaptable and agile processes that increase the pace of innovation.

They will look at different avenues to improve sustainable development, DE&I and other social impact initiatives.
