Infosys selected by ArcelorMittal as digital transformation partner

Infosys said that steel production company ArcelorMittal has selected the company to help expedite its digital transformation journey.

The partnership between the firms will also see the Indian IT services company provide ArcelorMittal Europe with next-generation application management and business process management (BPM) services.

Infosys will share best practices focused on the next-generation application management services with ArcelorMittal Europe for streamlining, stabilizing, and transforming the latter’s IT landscape.

Besides, the Indian IT services company will set up a business process management (BPM) service in the Business Center of Excellence (BCoE) shared services center of ArcelorMittal Europe.

The partnership is said to further consolidate Infosys’ footprint in Europe and will enable the firm to maximize synergies across the ArcelorMittal Group globally.

Last month, Infosys BPM won a five-year contract extension from gold miner Newmont for standardizing and digitizing delivery models across the latter’s mine sites.
