Infosys roped in as digital innovation partner by Financial Times

Infosys said that it has been roped in as the digital innovation partner by business news organization, the Financial Times (FT).

The Indian IT services provider plans to make use of digital innovation to underpin the latest creative and engaging data-led storytelling experiences for the publication’s readers.

The new digital innovation collaboration between the parties brings together the expertise and insight of the Financial Times with the domain and technology capabilities of Infosys to help deliver creative and immersive journalism by means of digital channels.

According to Infosys, the business news organization has digital techniques as a priority for bringing readers closer to the stories relevant to them.

Among the banner projects, the parties will work together this year is a climate change-related simulation, which will draw inspiration from an earlier newsroom innovation called the Uber Game. In Uber Game, readers were put in the driving seat and were directly immersed into the business model of Uber.

The teams of the Financial Times and Infosys will also develop a ‘crossword app’, which will be available in an engaging digital format to reach a much larger global audience.
