Infosys partners with SAP to provide BPTaaS to enterprises

Infosys has entered into a collaboration with German enterprise application software provider SAP to offer business process transformation-as-a-service (BPTaaS) to enterprises.

The Indian IT company said that it will tap into business process intelligence (BPI) from SAP for identifying opportunities and obstacles in the transformation journey and build a roadmap for clients.

Rouven Morato — SAP Business Process Intelligence General Manager said: “The value of BPI extends beyond IT and actually impacts how businesses operate. Our blended expertise with Infosys, will enable enterprises to accelerate their digitization journey and scale their businesses globally.”

Infosys’ BPTaaS is expected to augment the RISE with SAP solution, and cut down the complexity and time to benefit apart from speeding up value realization. These will help clients transform the customer experience by leveraging its portfolio of industry cloud solutions that are part of Infosys Cobalt, said Infosys.

The Indian IT services provider said that BPTaaS will help businesses gain in-depth process analysis during transformation besides enabling them to benchmark against industry peers to identify possible areas for improvement. Furthermore, businesses can also boost process governance by getting better visibility in operations and identifying instances of process deviations in order to timely initiate corrective actions.
