Infosys enters into 7-year collaboration with Germany-based TK Elevator

Infosys has entered into a collaboration with TK Elevator (formerly thyssenkrupp Elevator), a German elevator company, with an aim to revamp the latter’s digital workplace management, network security, and IT infrastructure, powered by Infosys Cobalt.

The global partnership for seven years is an extension of the modernization of TK Elevator’s IT infrastructure carried out by Infosys in Europe and Africa.

As part of the new engagement, the Indian IT company will be combining and harmonizing the global service desk and workplace operations.

Infosys said that it will be responsible for providing TK Elevator with artificial intelligence (AI) powered IT helpdesk services, digital workplace management, and network services, powered by an automation framework driven by Infosys Cobalt. The Indian IT giant claimed that this will humanize the workplace experience of TK Elevator by creating a resilient enterprise and digitally transforming its supporting IT infrastructure.

Infosys will look to strengthen cybersecurity and improve digital experience for the end users of the German elevator company by utilizing its deep domain expertise, its capabilities in industry-grade IT infrastructure modernization, and a solid global presence.

Besides, enhancing the availability of IT infrastructure, the partnership will help TK Elevator cut down overall IT operational costs.
