IndusInd Bank names Vikas Muttoo as Bharat Financial Inclusion COO

IndusInd Bank, an Indian financial services provider, has appointed Vikas Muttoo as COO and Head Member Services of its fully-owned subsidiary Bharat Financial Inclusion Ltd. (BFIL).

Bharat Financial Inclusion, which belongs to the financial services industry, offers asset and liability product solutions from IndusInd Bank. It was established in 1998 to provide customers with microfinance loans and in 2019 was merged with IndusInd Bank.

Vikas Muttoo is a seasoned banker with more than 27 years of experience in the financial and banking worlds including retail banking, microfinance consumer finance, as well as P&L management.

He has previously worked in the past with ANZ Grindlays, Standard Chartered, ABN Amro, and RBS apart from having a productive time in Bharat Financial Inclusion, where he was the chief business officer.

Vikas Muttoo’s most recent assignment was at RBL Bank, where he was the CEO and MD of the microfinance business.
