Indian IT company HCL Technologies forays into Vietnam

Indian IT company HCL Technologies has forayed into Vietnam by establishing a subsidiary called HCL Vietnam Company with operations based at the capital city Hanoi.

HCL Vietnam will provide technology solutions to its client base across the world, spanning various industries and verticals, which include banking and financial services, infrastructure, engineering, healthcare, and cybersecurity.

In the coming three years, HCL Technologies will look to recruit over 3,000 local university graduates and experienced professionals in Vietnam.

According to the Indian IT company, HCL Vietnam will offer the right skilling and platforms for training graduates for career opportunities across hi-tech domains and give them the necessary exposure of working on global assignments.

Phan Tam – Vietnam Information and Communications Vice Minister said: “I’m delighted that a global company like HCL Technologies will kick start its operations in Vietnam.

“I am very confident that the kind of world-class platform and exposure this company will be providing to our talented resources through its global delivery centre will help in nurturing and building skills that are very much needed in today’s digital age. Adopting new education model with online platform approach will accelerate upskilling and reskilling training for local resources.”
