HCL Technologies to help Wacker Chemie in IT transformation

HCL Technologies said that it has inked an end-to-end IT transformation services agreement with German chemical company Wacker Chemie.

Under the five-year deal, the Indian IT services provider will help Wacker Chemie in setting up a modernized digital workplace and enhance its quality-of-service delivery.

Wacker Chemie has four business divisions and presently operates 26 production sites around the world.

Its engagement with HCL Technologies is expected to result in considerable cost efficiencies by means of modernization, standardization, and automation.

HCL Technologies will employ artificial intelligence (AI) enabled virtual assistants for driving efficiencies for the German chemical company.

Earlier this month, HCL Technologies was selected by Rogers Communications for expanding support of operational stability excellence in business and operational support systems and corporate IT systems.
