HCL Technologies ropes in Prabhakar Appana as head of AWS Ecosystem unit
HCL Technologies said that it has appointed Prabhakar Appana as Senior Vice President and the Global Head of its AWS Ecosystem business unit to further expedite its #HCLCloudSmart journey.
Prabhakar Appana has nearly 23 years of experience in multiple leadership roles across consulting, geo sales, technology practices, and program management. He will be responsible for fueling the business growth of HCL Technologies and providing its global clients with solutions and services in transforming their businesses for the digital age.

According to HCL Technologies, Prabhakar Appana joins the company from Accenture where he was involved in building technology business for telcos, high-tech, media, and aerospace and defence industries, and later he worked in London to drive and transform the cloud business.
HCL Technologies said that its recently launched dedicated AWS Ecosystem business unit will enable enterprise clients in modernizing and migrating at scale, maintain cost advantages and concentrate on experimentation by combining its experience and expertise in developing adaptive cloud smart portfolios, and AWS’ depth and breadth of services and quick innovation.
