HCL Technologies launches cloud-native, web and mobile-ready Domino v12

HCL Technologies has launched HCL Domino v12 – the cloud-native, web, and mobile-ready version of its Domino application development platform.

The secure enterprise application-development platform is said to power 10 million apps that operate the business of over 15,000 companies across the world.

The newest version, that is v12, of Domino includes low code capability, said HCL Technologies.

Darren Oberst – Corporate Vice President and Head of HCL Software said: “The world is ‘Powered by Domino,’ and with v12 we continue to deliver on our commitment in ensuring the future of Domino is one that is low-code, mobile and secure.

“Even just a year ago, most CIOs would not believe me if I told them Domino apps are accessible anywhere and on any device. But they are, and we’re just getting started.”

Some of the features of HCL Domino v12 are that it is cloud-native with flexible backup deployment options and improved security, it removes the need for desktop client upgrades, while enabling anyone can build apps faster with low code.

Last month, HCL Technologies announced its selection by US health care company McLaren Health Care for implementing its digital transformation project.
