HCL Technologies helps energy giant BP set up modern digital workplace

HCL Technologies said that it has successfully finished the first phase in setting up a modern digital workplace for energy giant BP.

The Indian IT company said that the multi-year partnership with HCL Technologies will help transform the workplace services of BP to enable it to bring in efficiency and create a standardized end-user experience for its workforce spread over 500 plus sites.

According to HCL Technologies, it has been delivering global site support services as well as managed telephony for 60,000 IT end-users at BP.

HCL Technologies said that the implementation of HCL WorkBlaze digital experience monitoring solution and DRYiCE OptiBot workplace optimization software has resulted in substantial efficiency gains, while underpinning the quick transition to remote working during the Covid-19 pandemic.

HCL Technologies said that its success in boosting employee satisfaction by means of better omnichannel experiences and increased first call resolution resulted in an extension of five years for the engagement and improvement of scope to include the global service desk, Microsoft platform services, as well as platform engineering services.
