Greenlight Planet launches Sun King portable solar powered fan in India

Greenlight Planet, a US-based provider of solar energy products,  has introduced a portable solar powered fan dubbed Sun King Fan, in India. (Sun King Fan price is Rs. 5999).

The new Greenlight Planet portable solar powered fan offers powerful airflow for grid-like cooling and strikes balance between performance and durability, according to the company.

Sun King solar fan review

The Sun King solar fan is powered by a 20W solar panel and features a brushless motor, which increases the lifespan of the portable solar fan of its size by an additional three years when compared to those with a brushed motor.

Designed to support over 20,000 hours of regular use over its lifespan, the portable solar powered fan consists of a solar charging meter and a programmable timer to run for 30, 60, or 120 minutes.

The portable solar powered fan can run for 18 continuous hours with a single sunny day’s charge and the user can select from three-speed modes: turbo, normal and low power.

The Sun King soal fans can be purchased through retail outlets and some of the largest microfinance institutions, in India, with credit facility.
