GlacierPoint Enterprises acquires ice cream distributor Marina Ice Cream

GlacierPoint Enterprises, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has acquired Marina Ice Cream Corp., a full-service direct store delivery (DSD) distributor of ice cream and other food and beverage products in the New York Metro region.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by GlacierPoint Enterprises, which is the parent company of E&M Logistics, Panza & Sons, Jack & Jill, Gillette Creamery, and Southern Ice Cream.

Established in 1983, Marina Ice Cream Corp. is the exclusive DSD distributor of Unilever ice cream and frozen products along with other brands like Breyer’s, Turkey Hill, and Perry’s among others.

Based in Queens, New York, Marina Ice Cream Corp. caters to grocery store chains, delis, independent supermarkets, convenience store chains, drugstores, and foodservice customers.
