Continental Hospitals opens new headache clinic in Hyderabad

Continental Hospitals has opened Continental Headache Clinic in Hyderabad to provide complete, multi-disciplinary approach for the management and treatment of headache and migraine in both adults and children.

Continental Headache Clinic will consist of neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, neuroradiologists, sleep specialists, psychologists, and nutritionists, said the Indian multi-specialty, tertiary, and quaternary care facility.

The multi-dimensional approach of the headache and migraine clinic for treatment and management of headache will offer correct diagnosis and several treatment modalities, alternate therapies, and new drugs usage.

Dr Guru N Reddy — Continental Hospitals founder and chairman said: “Headache is the most common cause in neurology speciality for patients to visit emergency rooms and WHO has estimated that India would be incurring an expense of over $1 trillion (Rs 85,000 crores) in management of mental diseases that includes headaches in near future.”

Launched during the national-level Symposium on Headache – Current Understanding & Newer Therapies, the headache and migraine clinic is now open for patients across Telangana and India.

The symposium was organized by Neurology Faculty of Continental Hospitals.

Recently, Continental Hospitals opened a new premium economy wing in Hyderabad.
