BAE Systems bags $154m worth IDIQ contract from US Navy

BAE Systems has bagged a five-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) contract worth up to $154 million to continue delivering engineering and technical integration services to the US Navy.

Under the contract, BAE Systems will be particularly supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Webster Outlying Field.

The British arms, security, and aerospace company will support the quick integration and maintenance of the Special Communications Mission Systems Division’s command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.

“Our C5ISR experts will provide custom solutions for military and commercial based communications platforms that will enable enhanced capabilities within the U.S. and abroad.”

According to BAE Systems, its production and technical leads give lifecycle sustainment, engineering of front-end production and systems, and installation services at the Special Communication Rapid Integration Facility of the customer.
