Cazadores, owned by Bacardi, has introduced Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release in the US to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the brand’s original recipe.

The secret recipe was first created in 1922 in the Highland town of Arandas in Jalisco, Mexico, and is still used to produce every single bottle of Cazadores.

The Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release was produced from agave that was grown and matured at the Cazadores Distillery location in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico.

The limited edition aged in a combination of American oak and new French oak barrels.

Jay Needham — Cazadores Brand Director said: “This unique first-ever estate release from the brand will serve as a time capsule of this centennial anniversary for years to come.

“We are so excited to share this extra special blend of agave from the Cazadores property with enthusiasts.”

The Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release clocks in at 40% ABV and tastes smooth and sweet with a citrus and vanilla finish.

With an aroma of intense cooked agave with fruity and spicy notes, the Cazadores 100-year Estate Release will be available soon in 2022 in limited quantities across the US.
