Anderson-Negele acquires magnetic flow meters component business of GEA Diessel

Anderson-Negele, an American instrumentation company, has closed the previously announced acquisition of Germany-based GEA Diessel’s magnetic flow meters component business.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The metering blending, and calibration (MBC) division component business acquired by Anderson-Negele offers high-precision magnetic-inductive flow meters, which are used in food, beverage, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

According to Anderson-Negele, the deal fast tracks its strategy for providing instrumentation and control systems that are used in the automation of quality, process, and inventory management in hygienic manufacturing.

Besides, the acquisition adds flow expertise to complement its innovation in sensor and instrumentation innovation, said Anderson-Negele.
