AmeriLife Group acquires Texas-based American Benefits Exchange

AmeriLife Group, an insurance and retirement solutions has acquired Texas-based American Benefits Exchange for an undisclosed price.

American Benefits Exchange has expertise in offering insurance solutions to federal, postal, and state employees, and also to members of the US Armed Forces and small businesses.

Said to have a deep understanding of the requirements of civil service employees, American Benefits Exchange’s team provides a comprehensive portfolio of products to address major financial issues.

Scott R. Perry – Chairman and CEO of AmeriLife said: “American Benefits Exchange is a well-rounded marketing company that has made its mark in life, health and annuity distribution, supplementing existing government benefit plans.

AmeriLife said that the acquisition advances its strategic focus in joining hands with independent insurance professionals, financial advisors, and marketing organizations with solid bases for growth.

The company said that the collaborations lead to an integrated organizational model, benefiting both parties with shared access to the required resources to maintain growth, and also for the expansion of distribution capabilities, for getting to a larger audience and marketplace.
