MODEC bags Sangomar FPSO contract from Woodside Energy

Sangomar FPSO contract : MODEC has signed a contract with Woodside Energy to deliver a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Sangomar field development phase 1 offshore Senegal.

The latest FPSO purchase contract has been given following the final investment decision (FID) taken by Woodside Energy and its partners on the Sangomar field development earlier this month.

The FPSO for the Sangomar oil project, which is due for delivery in early 2023, will be deployed about 100 kilometers south of Dakar.
